In a bid to dispel rumors surrounding the upcoming movie “Devara” featuring Jr NTR, Naga Vamsi from Sithara Entertainments took to Twitter on Wednesday to address the speculations gaining traction on social media. Several media outlets had shared posters across their social media platforms, claiming that Sithara had secured the rights for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the Jr NTR starrer.

Vamsi vehemently refuted these reports, clarifying that Sithara Entertainments had not acquired the theatrical distribution rights for “Devara.” He stressed that any official announcements regarding the company’s productions or distribution endeavors would be exclusively made through their official channels. In his tweet, Vamsi stated, “There is no truth to the ‘images’ and ‘updates’ circulating on social media. Any official updates about our Production or Distribution will be announced through us and US, ONLY. Kindly refrain from believing in rumors from any other sources.”

Vamsi’s tweet serves as a firm directive, urging fans and industry insiders to disregard any rumors not originating from Sithara Entertainments’ official platforms. Nevertheless, there is talk within the industry that Sithara Entertainments is indeed in negotiations to acquire the rights, while Mythri and Dil Raju are also reportedly exploring similar opportunities. Some speculate that Vamsi’s tweet may have been prompted by the purported ₹120 crore figure and the associated poster.
