Severe Turbulence on Singapore Flight: One Dead, 30 Injured

A 73-year-old British man passed away due to severe turbulence on a flight from London to Singapore. He had a heart condition. His wife, who was traveling with him, was taken to the hospital.

The flight had to land in Bangkok urgently due to the turbulence. There were 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board.

Some passengers who weren’t wearing seatbelts got head injuries when the flight suddenly dropped. It only lasted for a few seconds. Eighteen passengers had to go to the hospital, and seven of them are in critical condition.

Another Singapore Airlines plane, flying from Bangkok, took on passengers from SQ321 who were not hurt and wanted to keep going to Singapore.
