The fires happened in February and killed at least 137 people, displaced 16,000, and damaged over 9,800 buildings.

The wildfire was one of the worst disasters in Chile in the last 30 years, according to experts.

Investigators have proof that the two men planned the fire when the weather conditions were right for a big blaze, said regional prosecutor Claudia Perivancich.

Perivancich added that one of the suspects mentioned money as a reason for starting the fire. She also said that they are looking into the case for six months and might find more people involved.

CNN is trying to find out if the suspects have lawyers.
