The family head, Gurmeet Singh Brar, lives in Indiana state in the US and said that this act is a tribute to the country that has provided them with a good life.

Gurmeet Singh Brar always dreamed of settling in the US and moved there in 2006. He started a transport business, which grew over the years, and now they are leading a comfortable life.

The sculptor, Gill, mentioned that it took him around two months to complete the statue. Meanwhile, the internet is amused by the Statue of Liberty, and jokes about it have been circulating. One person joked, “Somewhere in Punjab, the THIRD liberty statue is installed,” while another said, “What happens when you don’t get a visa to your desired foreign country…”

Another user wrote, “Ideally they should build Niagara Falls so that Canada is not missed.”
