Partha Das from Chanakyya Political Consultancy shared his forecast for Andhra Pradesh. He believes that YSRCP has a strong chance of winning the elections again. According to him, YSRCP may secure between 110 to 120 MLA seats, while TDP and its allies might get around 55 to 65 MLA seats.
Das noted that female voters largely favored YSRCP, whereas TDP and its allies had more support among male voters. He mentioned that YSRCP was slightly behind TDP in terms of male voter support but ahead by 12% among female voters.
Analyzing the voter turnout, Das observed that female voters outnumbered male voters in 144 assembly seats, while male voters were more in 31 assembly seats. Based on this data, he predicted that YS Jagan’s YCP could win a second term.
However, it’s worth noting that Chanakyya’s predictions have been inaccurate in the past, notably failing to predict the outcomes of the 2019 general elections in AP and the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
