KCR Writes to CM Revanth Reddy: A Look Inside the Letter

User Newsinnews

KCR, the former CM of Telangana, recently penned a lengthy letter to current CM Revanth Reddy. The letter, spanning 22 pages, addressed various issues, particularly regarding the portrayal of Telangana’s formation as a gift from the Congress. KCR strongly opposed this idea, highlighting the decades-long struggle of the Telangana movement and the sacrifices made by many.

In his letter, KCR emphasized the grassroots nature of the statehood movement and criticized the Congress for delaying the process, which led to the loss of many lives. He also highlighted his government’s achievements, such as the Rythu Bandhu scheme supporting farmers, even during challenging times like the Covid-19 pandemic.

KCR expressed disappointment with Revanth Reddy and his government for not fulfilling promises and failing to address key issues. Consequently, he announced his decision not to attend the Telangana State Formation Day event organized by the state government.

Additionally, the Telangana BJP criticized Revanth Reddy for allegedly excluding them from the event, despite their support for Telangana’s statehood. It remains to be seen how Revanth Reddy will respond to KCR’s open letter.
