The TDP alliance dealt a heavy blow to the YCP in the recent Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
There’s talk that TDP leader and CM-designate N. Chandrababu Naidu plans to make a move in the YCP’s stronghold, Kadapa, which is the party boss’s native constituency.
As part of this plan, Chandrababu Naidu is considering appointing Kadapa TDP MLA Redeppagari Madhavi Reddy as a minister.
The TDP, JSP, and BJP alliance won the majority in Andhra Pradesh, and Chandrababu Naidu is getting ready to become the CM. People are curious about who will be in Naidu’s Cabinet. There’s speculation that Madhavi Reddy will likely get a spot. She comes from a politically influential family, and her husband, Srinivas Reddy, has been a strong financial supporter of the TDP for a long time.
Given her financial resources and her victory over the YCP in Kadapa, it seems Naidu is favoring her over others. Plus, having her in the Cabinet would help Naidu keep an eye on Jagan.
Madhavi Reddy is becoming a strong leader with her family’s support, and she has good communication skills. TDP members and the boss believe she can help strengthen the party in the YCP’s stronghold.
