The victory in this year’s Andhra Pradesh election holds great historical significance for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janasena camps. Through an alliance with the BJP, both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan led successful campaigns, securing 164 MLA seats in the alliance, while the YSR Congress Party (YCP) was limited to 11.
Now, with the electoral mandate confirmed, Pawan and Chandrababu are finalizing the last-minute formalities. During the legislative meeting today, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan nominated Chandrababu as the Chief Minister, a decision unanimously approved by JSP and TDP MLAs.
Following this nomination, there was an emotional moment on stage as Pawan Kalyan spoke about Chandrababu. “Chandrababu garu is a man of confidence and vision. I have seen him suffer in jail. He was down. I saw Bhuvaneshwari garu in pain. I promised them good days will come, and those good days are here now. I wish all the very best to Chandrababu garu,” Pawan said sincerely. While Pawan made this statement, Chandrababu appeared visibly moved, and this genuine moment between the two party leaders has started trending on social media platforms.
