After teasing the song’s promo on Eid, the creators of Lucky Baskhar launched the first single from their movie Srimathi garu on Wednesday. This melodious and playful romantic song portrays a man seeking forgiveness from his wife through heartfelt lyrics.
The song features Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary as a humble, middle-class couple with a child in the movie. It also showcases glimpses of their courtship before marriage.
Vishal Mishra, known for his previous hit Jailer’s Rathamaarey, lends his voice for the male vocals, while Shweta Mohan contributes to the female vocals in the song’s charanam. The soulful lyrics are penned by Shreemani, with GV Prakash composing the music.
Directed and written by Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar also reunites GV Prakash with Venky after their previous collaboration on Sir (Vaathi in Tamil). Srimathi garu evokes warm feelings reminiscent of Mastaru Mastaru from Sir and is poised to become a favorite on playlists.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and S Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments & Fortune Four Cinemas, the film is set in 1980s Bombay and tells the story of a middle-class man’s rise to wealth through financial maneuvers. The creators are committed to delivering an unforgettable cinematic experience.
Lucky Baskhar is scheduled to release on September 27th, promising an engaging narrative that captures the audience’s hearts.
