As part of the final preparations, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Janasena, and BJP have solidified Chandrababu Naidu’s candidacy for the Chief Minister position. He is scheduled to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh tomorrow, a moment eagerly anticipated by the alliance supporters.

Naidu briefly outlined his plans at today’s legislative meeting, addressing a crucial topic regarding the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP leader confidently asserted that Amaravati will remain the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh, with a focus on developing Vizag as a financial hub. “Amaravati will be our only capital city, without any doubt. Additionally, we will ensure significant development in Vizag as the financial hub. Kurnool will also receive special attention and governance.”

With Naidu returning to power, there has been a significant surge in real estate activity in Amaravati. Reports suggest that land prices have nearly doubled since the alliance’s election victory. Both Chandrababu and Lokesh (previously) have dismissed the three capitals’ concept proposed by the outgoing YSR Congress Party (YCP) government, reaffirming Amaravati as the sole capital.
