
In less than a week, we’ll know who will be the next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Will it be Jagan for a second term, or will Chandrababu Naidu return to power? The answer will come by 2 PM on June 4th.
The Andhra Pradesh Election Officer, Mukesh Kumar Meena, announced that the counting of votes in 111 constituencies will be finished by 2 PM. These constituencies have 20 rounds of EVM counting.
Once these 111 constituencies are counted, we’ll have a clearer idea of which party is leading and has a better chance of forming the government by reaching the magic number of 88 seats.
By 4 PM, another 61 constituencies will have their counting completed, with 21-24 rounds of counting. The remaining 3 constituencies, with over 25 rounds of counting, may take more time.
The CEO mentioned that the final results for the AP polls will be declared by 8 or 9 PM on June 4th.
Counting will start at 8 AM, with postal ballots being counted first.
