In a few days, Andhra Pradesh politics will shift as exit polls are released after 5 PM on June 1st. Currently, there’s a lot of talk about possible election trends, especially regarding postal ballots.

The YSR Congress got worried when AP Election Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena said postal ballots couldn’t be rejected even without an official seal from the Returning Officer.

Now, the YCP has gone to the High Court about CEO Meena’s memo on not rejecting ballots without an RO seal. The court will hear this today.

This comes after Perni Nani’s strong press conference where he criticized the CEO for new postal ballot rules, insisting they should only count if there’s an RO stamp.

YCP Rajyasabha MP Niranjan Reddy even wrote to the Central EC to reconsider this memo.

It’s clear the YCP is worried about the new postal ballot rules, with leaders working hard to address the issue. They’re surprised by the record-breaking 5.4 lakh postal ballots cast this election.
