In the past, bicycles were important for transportation, especially for middle and lower-class people during Independence times. In Telugu culture, bicycles are also linked to NT Ramarao, who used it as a symbol for the Telugu Desam Party.
Now, in the movie “Game Changer,” directed by S Shankar and starring Ram Charan, bicycles will have a special significance. In flashback scenes, Charan’s character uses a bicycle as his mode of transport during a political movement. He even arrives at the Assembly on a bicycle and eventually becomes Chief Minister.
These scenes will likely remind viewers of NTR, creating excitement especially among fans of the current political coalition. The movie follows the story of Ram Charan’s character, who portrays a younger version of his father, alongside Anjali. Later, their son (played by the present-day Ram Charan) becomes an IAS officer, with Kiara Advani as his co-star.
“Game Changer” is still in production, with an expected release date in November or December 2024.
