Actress Hema was involved in a recent rave party incident in Bengaluru, which made headlines. Initially, she denied being present there, stating she was in Hyderabad at the time. However, the police later confirmed her arrest in connection with the case.
Following her interrogation by the police, Hema was sent to Bengaluru’s Parappa Agrahara jail after testing positive for drugs. Now, there’s talk within the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) of suspending her membership. MAA president Manchu Vishnu is expected to make an official announcement about this soon, possibly tomorrow.
Despite her arrest, Hema continues to deny the allegations, claiming she only attended a birthday party and left after the cake-cutting ceremony.
