Nara Lokesh’s “Red Book” Campaign Inspires BRS’s “Black Book” Initiative
During the recent TDP+ election campaign, Nara Lokesh introduced the term “Red Book” to target government officials and police who allegedly favored the YCP government. Lokesh’s use of the Red Book created apprehension among the workforce, as he personally carried it during his campaign.
Now, in a notable response to Lokesh’s Red Book, Telangana is witnessing the emergence of a similar initiative known as the “Black Book,” led by BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy. Standing before the media, Reddy displayed the Black Book as a warning to government officials perceived to be aligned with the Congress party. He emphasized that their names were being documented for future consequences once BRS comes to power in 2028.
While Lokesh’s Red Book was a novel and impactful concept, BRS’s adoption of the Black Book appears to mirror Lokesh’s narrative. Whether BRS’s Black Book will achieve the same level of recognition as Lokesh’s remains to be seen. For now, Lokesh’s Red Book continues to make waves across political circles.
