The TDP alliance is now aiming to retaliate against the YCP for its aggressive actions during its five-year rule in Andhra Pradesh.

After assuming office as Chief Minister, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy demolished the Praja Vedika, a government structure, and left its remains to emotionally affect his rival, Naidu.

Later, former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao was implicated in a case involving furniture at his home. Distressed by the harassment, Siva Prasad tragically took his own life.

In response, the TDP issued notices to Jagan Mohan Reddy, demanding the return of furniture allegedly bought with government funds and dubbed him as #FurnitureRobberJagan on social media.

During his tenure, Jagan reportedly blocked roads and erected barricades around his Tadepalli Palace, violating regulations.

At Rushikonda, he spent around Rs 550 crore on luxury buildings using government money.

Additionally, Jagan’s construction of the YCP Central office in Tadepalli was met with controversy as CRDA officials demolished it, claiming the land belonged to the irrigation department, despite protests from YCP supporters who called it ‘vendetta politics’.

The TDP insists that Jagan misused his power to allocate land belonging to survey number 202/A1 in Tadepalli to the YCP for their office, and they allege he plans to occupy an additional 15 acres.

Recently, another controversy arose when the Jagan government allocated 1.75 acres of land to the YCP office in Vizag, despite objections from the Vizag Corporation. The land was leased for 33 years at just Rs 1,000 per acre per year.

Now, there are speculations whether the Vizag YCP office will face similar action from the TDP alliance. Could the Vizag building also be demolished?
