Despite the election commission lifting the electoral code and a new government taking charge, there are reports from certain places in Andhra Pradesh where former CM Jagan’s photos are still displayed in government offices. For instance, at the Mandal Parishad office in Narsapuram, activists were surprised to see Jagan’s photo still hanging on the wall during a recent visit to discuss a development program.
According to regulations, these photos should have been removed when the election code was announced. Despite the change in leadership and Chandrababu taking over as the new CM, Jagan’s photos continue to be displayed. This has sparked frustration among alliance activists, who are calling for immediate action to remove these photos from all government offices across Andhra Pradesh.
