Krithi’s Adventures in Telugu and Triumphs in Tamil!

User Newsinnews

Krithi Shetty started her Telugu film journey with a bang, entering the 100 crore club with her debut movie “Uppena.” Her second film, “Shyam Singha Roy,” also did well at the box office. However, she faced a series of failures afterward with movies like “The Warrior,” “Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Cheptha,” “Macherla Niyojakavargam,” and “Custody.”

Now, all her hopes are on Sriram Adittya’s “Manamey,” where she stars alongside Sharwanand. The movie is set to release on June 7th. On the bright side, while she faced setbacks in Telugu, her career began to shine in Tamil.

Currently, she has three big Tamil films lined up. First, she’ll be seen with Jayam Ravi in “Genie,” a fantasy film. She’s also set to appear in “Life Insurance Corporation” opposite Pradeep Ranganathan. And now, she’s starring opposite Karthi in “Vaa Vaathiyar,” directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy.

Interestingly, Krithi was supposed to act with Karthi’s elder brother Suriya in a film called “Vanangaan.” However, the shoot for that movie stopped, and there haven’t been any updates about it since.

Besides her work in Tamil and Telugu, Krithi will also be making her Malayalam debut soon opposite Tovino Thomas in “Ajayam Randam Moshanam.”
