Andhra Pradesh’s IT ministry has transitioned from YCP’s Gudivada Amarnath to the capable and diligent Nara Lokesh. Today, he was appointed as the new IT minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet.
Expressing gratitude, Lokesh thanked his father Chandrababu Naidu for entrusting him with the opportunity to enhance the state’s IT sector and serve its people.
Reflecting on his previous tenure from 2014 to 2019, Lokesh highlighted his achievements in transforming rural areas as the Minister of Panchayat Raj and boosting employment through IT and electronics initiatives. He pledged to continue this legacy and work tirelessly.
Addressing his promise of creating 20 lakh jobs made during the Yuvagalam Yatra, Lokesh emphasized his commitment to leveraging his education and experience from Stanford University to strengthen rural education and foster economic growth. His goal is to attract IT and electronics companies to Andhra Pradesh, thereby generating substantial employment opportunities for the youth.
This term holds significant importance for Lokesh, backed by a strong mandate from the people of Mangalagiri. He is determined and motivated to emerge as a prominent leader, aiming to achieve ambitious goals for the state’s development.
