Nara Lokesh has emerged as a strong leader for TDP. Not only did he win the Mangalagiri assembly constituency by a large margin, but he also motivated TDP members and booth-level workers over the past four years, creating a wave that YS Jagan couldn’t see.

Now that the Kutami coalition has won in Andhra Pradesh, Lokesh had an interview with a national media outlet where he was asked about TDP’s stance on the NDA alliance. Lokesh responded thoughtfully, showing both assertiveness and maturity.

He stated, “The Telugu Desam Party fully supports the NDA government at the center. However, we expect significant development initiatives in return. TDP is focused on making Andhra Pradesh the electronics manufacturing hub of South India, and we need logistical support from the center to achieve this goal.”

Lokesh emphasized that TDP prioritizes the interests of Andhra Pradesh above party politics. He expects the NDA government, which relies on TDP’s support in parliament, to honor this and provide assistance for the state’s development.
