Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of Telugu Desam Party, returned to Hyderabad yesterday after a trip abroad. Since his return, he has been busy meeting with TDP members and leaders.
During a recent discussion with TDP leaders, Naidu predicted the number of seats YSR Congress Party (YCP) would win in the upcoming elections.
He stated that YCP is likely to win fewer than 35 seats due to anti-incumbency in the state and effective election management by Telugu Desam Party.
According to Naidu’s assessment, the TDP+ alliance is expected to win over 140 seats, while YCP may secure only 35 seats. This suggests a significant victory for the Kutami alliance.
A clearer picture of the situation will emerge on June 1st when exit polls are released. The actual counting of votes will take place on June 4th.
