Chandrababu Naidu’s Firm Hand: 19 IAS Officers Moved, Srilakshmi Sent to GAD

Chandrababu Naidu, known for his strong leadership, has swiftly reshuffled the state’s IAS officers since taking office for the fourth time. He expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of several officers who served under the previous YCP regime.

In a notable move, Naidu has transferred 19 IAS officers, including Srilakshmi and Special Chief Secretary Rajat Bhargava. Srilakshmi, controversially reinstated by Jagan, has been directed to report to the General Administration Department (GAD). This decision followed Naidu’s clear stance, demonstrated when he refused to accept a bouquet from Srilakshmi during a recent event at the secretariat.

Similarly, Rajat Bhargava, who oversaw the excise department during the YCP’s tenure, has also been assigned to GAD.

With these changes, Chandrababu Naidu has overhauled the state bureaucracy, emphasizing efficiency and transparency in governance.
