With YSRC leader Mudragada Padmanabham, known for championing the Kapu Community, changing his name to Padmanabha Reddy, there’s a lot of talk about his ego and how he’s seen as unsuccessful both as a politician and Kapu leader. People are comparing him to Pawan Kalyan and how the Janasena Chief became successful.
Earlier, Mudragada even challenged Pawan Kalyan’s electoral chances in Pithapuram and ridiculed Janasena’s MLA candidates.
Now that Pawan Kalyan has won convincingly, Mudragada could have simply apologized for his harsh comments. Instead, he changed his name as promised, which many see as a display of ego.
In contrast, Pawan Kalyan has shown humility throughout his political journey. Despite parting ways with TDP in 2019, he reunited with them in 2024 for the greater good.
This unity prevented Janasena from splitting votes, which could have benefited TDP and YSRCP equally. Pawan’s modesty is something to admire, while Mudragada’s ego is something to avoid.
