For a while now, people have been wondering if popular Telugu actors and producers would move their operations from Hyderabad to Vizag in Andhra Pradesh, risking everything they’ve established.
Now that Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan has won the election and become Deputy Chief Minister, he faces the responsibility of developing a part of the Telugu film industry in AP as well.
Reports say Pawan Kalyan has asked his producers for two months to plan and finish shooting his upcoming movies like #OG, Ustaad Bhagath Singh, and Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He wants to ensure these pending shoots are completed on specially built sets around Amaravathi and Vijayawada. This way, he can be available for secretariat, assembly, and other important cabinet meetings.
Pawan had considered this move before, but security concerns under the previous regime in Andhra Pradesh held him back. Now in a position of power, he might have the ability to make significant changes to bring Tollywood to the new state. We’ll have to wait and see what unfolds.
