There have been ongoing claims about unauthorized constructions near YS Jagan’s residence at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. However, no previous Chief Minister has taken action on this matter until now.
Today, for the first time, Telangana’s CM Revanth Reddy has taken steps regarding the lavish property at the renowned “Lotus Pond” in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Reportedly, security structures erected in front of Jagan’s residence at Lotus Pond were dismantled by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). These structures, intended for Jagan’s security, had encroached onto the road, causing inconvenience to the public.
Allegedly, these encroachments had been causing traffic problems and inconvenience to the public for some time. The Revanth Reddy administration, undeterred by Jagan’s influence, ordered the removal of these encroachments near his residence. These structures, built on public road space, have now been cleared.
While supporters argue these measures were necessary for Jagan’s safety, local residents insist the action was needed to ensure better public access to the road, which is public property. Whatever the rationale, CM Revanth has dared to intervene in the long-standing issue of Lotus Pond, which had remained untouched despite Jagan’s authority in the past.
