After the recent elections in Andhra Pradesh, where the YCP faced a big loss, criticism is growing against former Chief Minister Jagan.
Even in areas where YCP usually did well, they lost. This defeat has left YCP leaders puzzled. Some are blaming the Chief Minister’s office, while others are directly criticizing Jagan.
Former Endowment Minister Kottu Satyanarayana didn’t hold back, accusing Jagan of ignoring the party’s winners and not respecting democratic principles. He said that inexperienced people were put in important positions in the Chief Minister’s Office instead of those who truly represent the people.
Similarly, Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, a former MLA from Panyam, shared his frustration. He said that Jagan didn’t listen to warnings not to introduce the Land Titling Act before the elections, which might have cost the party votes.
Some villagers were reportedly scared that voting for Jagan would lead to their land being taken away. These warnings were ignored, causing unhappiness among party members. Overall, many YCP leaders are disappointed with Jagan’s leadership and are speaking out.
