Amaravati, the capital region of Andhra Pradesh, faced challenges during the last five years under the YSRCP’s rule.
Currently, Amaravati is undergoing a cleanup and beautification. Garbage is being cleared, and areas where forests were encroached upon are being restored. The spot where Prime Minister Modi installed a foundation stone is also being cleaned up.
Principal Secretary (CS) Nirab Kumar Prasad recently toured the capital region. He inspected construction projects that had stopped, like the CRDA project site at Uddandarayuni Palem, All India Service Officers residential complex, MLAs’ quarters, and the AP NGO residential complex. He also visited the High Court area and other important sites.
There’s talk of big changes coming. Chandrababu Naidu plans to visit soon after taking office and meet with local farmers. Construction work will pick up speed, and efforts will be made to complete pending payments and provide facilities for farmers within six months, as ordered by the court.
Chandrababu Naidu is focusing on Amaravati again, aiming to bring back organizations that left and restart development projects.
